Mr. Ricky Hinson was very friendly, courteous, and professional. He arrived 10 minutes early and thoroughly inspected my D.R. Horton new construction home for over 3 hours. He began with the outside and worked his way in. I was most impressed with his explicit report that was 55 pages including a table of contents, detailed pictures, and the ability to print a PDF, and share with an imbedded link in the document provided by email which I received within the hour after he inspected the property!

Mr. Hinson is very passionate about his work and it shows. He has a smile on his face the entire time he is working. He used thermo detectors to survey the water temperatures, a drone to photograph the roof, he checked the appliances, the sidewalks, driveways, pathways, porches, and everything inside from ceiling, attic, to floors.

Ricky provided home inspection of our newly built home, initial and final before closing. He was prompt, very thorough with his inspections, and provided detailed report that’s easy to understand. He came out again few days before our home closing to follow up on builder’s corrections, small cost for his services, immensely helpful. He used drone to inspect the roof and IR Camera to look for temperature anomalies, he has some cool toys to help. With all that he’s done, our builder took actions on everything that Ricky detailed in his report. I’d highly recommend Ricky, if you want thorough inspections of your home, and want someone who is prompt and courteous. We are very blessed to have received Ricky’s referral from our neighbor, I’d give him more than 5-starts if I could. 🙂

2025.12.15 - Had a good experience with Sentinel Services and Ricky Hinson who recently performed my home inspection on a new house I was buying. Was $500 dollars for the service. $400 for the general inspection and $100 for the crawl space. The report was very thorough and lots of good pictures and references to known building codes. Would recommend him to any of my friends needing a home inspection.
